Run the Task Manager in Power User Mode
The Windows XP Task Manager is a cool tool that gives you a lot of information about what's going on with your computer right now. You can run the Task Manager in a compact mode that shows more of the information you want to see! Try this out:
Right click an empty area of the Taskbar and click Task Manager.
In the Windows Task Manager window, click on any of the tabs. Notice when you click a tab that there is a little square that encloses the name of the tab. Make a note of that square.
Now double click under that outline. That puts the Task Manager in compact mode. Double click on the bar about the data frame to get the full view back.
Now click on another tab, and repeat the process. Pretty cool, eh?
